Frieren: Beyond Journey's End follows an ancient elf mage in the aftermath of a classic hero's journey. The Demon King has been defeated. The adventure is over. But Frieren — who barely aged while her companions grew old and died — realizes she never truly knew the people she spent a decade with. What follows is a slow, profound journey north, collecting forgotten spells and slowly learning to value the fleeting time she has with those around her.
