Mob Psycho's power system is built around emotional suppression and release. Mob is the strongest psychic alive — but deliberately holds his power back. The % meter represents how much of his emotional suppression has broken down.
The % System
Mob's power is measured by a percentage counter tracking his emotional state. As his emotions build — anger, sadness, joy, courage, any feeling — the counter climbs. At 100% it releases. At ???% something beyond release happens.
